We are holding off fashion archivists trying to get hold of this, my god they are banging at the door - they see this style is as The Definition of Knitwear.
It will be classified under 'The Dogs Bollocks', most museums do have a section named thus.
Key Points:
First: it's 100% Wool - as you would expect from us, you don't put acrylic in a garment like this, some do but not us.
Second: the yarn was Made in The British Isles, as you know the home of spinning.
Third: it's not silky soft, you can feel the wildness of the landscape in it.
Fourth: you can wear it out without a coat, on the deck of your trawler perhaps.
Fifth: you look like a man in it, your girl looks strangely seductive..... you figure it out.
care & content: hand wash (it deserves it), you will not wash this more than twice in a year. do NOT tumble dry, dry it flat, reshape whilst damp. No need to iron it. 100% Wool.
