This extrafine merino jumper or extrafine merino sweater if you are American - the old 'you say tomato and I say tomato' (doesn't really work in print that does it, never mind) is a 3 colour stripe but that's only half the story.
The whole story goes back to 1850 but we don't have enough time here so suffice to say we buy this Extrafine Merino Wool from the finest Italian spinning mill, the acknowledged kings of this fibre.
In this garment we have used their 'supermelange' colours - that's melanges mixed with melanges which in fact is literally dozens of colours blended and blended for ages as a fibre to make one wonderfully deep and luxurious colour.
Our Italian friends could go on about that for hours no doubt mentioning Dante along the way but as a British company we will simply say that the colours are bloody lovely.
care & content: hand wash is best but you can machine wash at 30 DEGREES NOT 40, dry it flat, do not tumble dry and then warm iron with steam is good. 100% Extrafine Merino.
