Socks often say ‘no-one loves us’, ‘everyone looks down on us’ (literally), ‘we are not taken seriously’, ‘has capitalism failed?’ – stuff like that.
But how wrong can they be?
At Jack Russell headquarters we are deadly serious about our ladies and men socks by putting as much fun as possible into them - we love them, we take them home with us, we even wear them on our feet.
We also love colour and our socks do not disappoint – we like to use colour in all our clothes (we are not a black only designer label.)
Socks are always an excuse to let your personality shine (or glimpse) through even at the most serious of times – so for meetings at the bank or tea with your prospective mother-in-law you can get away with a bright pair of striped socks whilst wearing a sensible jumper.
We make all our socks in England.
We use 100% cotton.
We also make wonderfully luxurious ladies and mens cashmere socks to keep your toes warm whilst watching the Jack Russell Polo Team or standing on the touchline watching the Rugby.
The Story of Jack Russell Clothing Socks
Our dear friend of over 25 years and the UKs leading sock guru Thomas Woolley designs and manufactures all our socks. Every pair made in England. We know him as The Lord Woolley of Sock. His family owned the world famous Whyte and Smith in Shepshed, his father actually invented the Argyle sock which defined golf wear in the USA during the 1930s. Thomas was schooled in Oakham and now divides his time between Leicestershire and his house in Provence which is where he generally dreams up our colours for our mens striped socks. He also builds Lotus racing cars and plays the jazz trumpet – which is mighty fine with us.
